Richard SERRA

First spotted among the Minimalist generation of the 1960s, Richard Serra is renowned the world over for his massive steel sculptures. Working with industrial materials using particularly complex engineering techniques, Serra's plastic reflections bring the physical and material force of the work to a climax. In the early 1970s, Serra began drawing, inspired by the principles of Minimalism.
